Our Services

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy assessments are completed by taking a combination of subjective and objective information to determine the best treatment option for you. Treatment options include: pain management education, exercise prescription, manual therapy, dry needling, acupuncture, and modalities.

Assessments are 60 minutes and we ask that you bring loose fitting or comfortable clothing.

Concussion Management

Maria is a Complete Concussion Management practitioner. During a concussion assessment, she will take your subjective history, combined with objective concussion findings in order to focus your treatment in the areas where you have impairments. Sessions will focus on your tolerance to concussion symptoms to improve pacing strategies over time. She will pair an at home program with in-clinic sessions in order to help you progress to the next level of concussion management.

Job Site Visit

The more job-specific information we have, the more specific recommendations we can make.

Job Site Analysis

This is an objective on-site evaluation that analyzes a worker’s job demands to better understand the requirements of the job. This is used to  assist in determining if a worker is ready to return to work, if job modifications are needed, and to identify physical demands that need to be focused on, in a work-conditioning program.

Home Visit/Home Assessment

A home visit enables the therapist to analyze and treat the problems and difficulties a client is experiencing with everyday tasks at home.

A baseline FCE is to address the client’s ability to perform within the 20 core Physical Demands of Work. This type of FCE is performed in cases where a job goal is unknown, or when the purpose is to establish disability/limitations. A job-specific FCE is performed to assess a client’s physical abilities in comparison to demands of a target job or jobs.
